DER WASSERLÄUFER is a piece of underwater exercise equipment which follows the principles of aquatic training and can be used for holistic mobility training focussing on coordination, balance, and strength. The exercising person is sitting on a floating body and pedalling in chest-high water. The balance is trained and muscles are stimulated, while exercising in the fluid increases the fun factor and adds variety to the training routine. The interaction of all these aspects, such as the comfortable atmosphere in the water, the integral exercising of the body, and the pleasure of doing sports will have a positive influence on the well-being.
