divid / infrared heating system


divid is a heating system based on infrared technology. The concept contains the schematic construction of an usual convection unit, using the long axis rotated through 90º. The panels are made of ceramic, which has good heating properties and makes a good economic and environmental sense. Every panel can be adjust into different positions to heat up where it is needed or to heat up different positions at one time.
Using the biological principle of efficiency, the surface is made of small honeycombs which fade out in the direction of the external end of each panel. It marks the coldest section and signalises the touching point for the user.
