10Yi is a lightweight wheelchair using sustainable materials by implementing an innovative principle called tensegrity. This structural method simplified the manufacturing process by employing bamboo poles in their natural shape. Apart being the worlds fastest growing plant bamboo is the adequate material for our design as it is stable and has huge tensile strength, yet weight reductive through its hollowed profile.
