Elements / "Kung Fu" Tea Cups

Elements
Elements

“Elements” is a set of five Kung Fu tea cups. The material of each cup is different as I apply the five elements of “TAIJI” diagram concept to the design. The tea cup is divided into upper and lower part. These two parts can combine and split by screw threads. The bottom body is made of Fine Ceramics. The upper ring is made of five different materials and represents five elements in “TAIJI” diagram. Metal represents “METAL”, Wood represents “WOOD”, Plastic represents “WATER”, Red brick represents “FIRE” and Stone represents “EARTH”. Thus, user can feel the five elements by touch with different materials when they are drinking.
