BESSA is a kitchen faucet system that allows users to visually see the amount of clean water usage and inspire new ways of using filtered water. A transparent tube allows users to measure the amount of clean water appropriate for different needs and understand personal drinking and usage patterns. By pushing down on the tube, users are able to manually filter the desired amount of water and create a haptic experience of the filtering process. The aim is to create ease of use functionalities with everyday activities such as drinking and cooking with water, as well as creating knowledge in the patterns of water consumption.
