Masculine-Feminine / Elavator Keypad

Masculine-Feminine

Inside most elevator cabins there are two keys, for opening and closing the door before it is done automatically. The closing key is used by a person inside the elevator who is usually trying to get up or down a few seconds fasters. The opening key on the other hand, is used in more important situations for example when someone else wants to catch the elevator, or when a body-part gets stuck between the doors and the sensors do not recognize it.
In these situations the person inside should press the opening key immediately. This simple design helps him/her to do it fast and also prevents the person from pressing another key by mistake.
