Dynamic Source / public refreshment

Dynamic Source
Dynamic Source

This abstract concept reminding of a dynamic dune is a public refreshment system which is inspired by the allegory to connect the subjects humidity and aridity with each other. The attraction is situated in warm inner cities. People can refresh themselves on hot and dry days in order to distract oneself from the everyday life for a short time. The contrast of desert and water is emphasized by the arrangement and shapes of the sculpture, pool and plateau. They align to the origin of its design: a reduced, dynamic and also geometrically explainable shape of a natural phenomenon. Structure, and materialities are matched for southern cities.
