Discipline: Professional Concept

Microbial Home probe: domestic ecosystem challenging conventional design solutions to energy, cleaning, food preservation, lighting, human waste, healthy lifestyle. Larder: evaporative cooler and vegetable storage system in a dining table to keep “living" food fresh. Bio-digester Island: methane digester converts bathroom waste solids and vegetable trimmings into methane gas, used to power a series of home functions. Bio-light: uses different biological technologies to create ambient light effects and explores the use of bioluminescent bacterial. Effluent Filtering Squatting toilet: filtering effluent while channeling excreta to methane digester.
