HP Artisan White Oak / Laptop

HP Artisan White Oak

Discipline: Material

Discipline: Material

HP, partnering with Nissha and Hokusan, developed a new manufacturing process that integrates trimmed, cut wood into a molding process. In keeping with their commitment to the environment, HP selected white oak, an environmentally friendly species certified by the American Hardwood Export Council as legally harvested. The artisan white oak pattern is inspired by the intertwining organic shapes found in nature, combined with ornate, Baroque-style decorative elements. The stylized asymmetrical composition complements the unique, natural variation of the white oak wood veneer.
