On your marks, get set, go! Holland promoted its holiday packages with a unique web event: a digital Dutch interpretation of an online treasure hunt. The campaign is initiated by Dutch adventurer, the Frikandel* Frik van Del", who is missing ten of his friends who've disappeared without a trace. Users are prompted to track them down during a thrilling Internet expedition with the prospect of a "fat" finder's reward in the form of promotions and prizes.
*Frikandel = a type of Dutch sausage
