2aid.org – the name stands for a non-profit organization. The unusual thing about 2aid.org is that it communicates exclusively via social networks like facebook. The objective was to reach as many people as possible in order to find new supporters for aid projects developed by 2aid.org.
The world’s first non-profit social media market in facebook place, shop2aid, was launched as a result of these efforts. facebook’s interactive mechanisms allow all the seller’s and buyer’s friends access to their shop2aid activities, triggering a snowball effect.

The snowball effect worked extremely well here! This nonprofit organization communicates exclusively via social networks. The first nonprofit social media page on Facebook is called “shop2aid” and operates without a media budget. Many people are reached through these outstanding interaction possibilities. Social media tools are used cleverly and effectively
