The biotech company AMT works to find cures to rare diseases by researching and developing gene therapy treatments instead of just relieving the symptoms with conventional medications. The company’s website is focused on the double helix structure of DNA as the carrier of hereditary information for genetic diseases. The double helix is built from the word “CARE” in the animated sequence on the homepage. Symbolic of the replacement of genes in gene therapy treatments, the “A” is replaced by a “U” to change the meaning of the word – a clear and vivid way of illustrating the complex topic of gene therapy.
