Its a Boy Its a Girl brings a new dimension to the traditional name search for new earthlings. In nearly 300 photos, company buildings and shop fronts in the USA, Europe and Asia that bear the name of their owners are documented: from car dealerships through laundries, there are countless fields of activity for the bearers of each forename a perfect aid to choosing a name for parents-to-be. The result is an unusual book of names, photographic and typographical, in two halves: Its a Boy presents the high and low ebbs of window displays from Albert to Yusuf, while Its a Girl shows graphical delicacies from Açelya to Yvonne.
