One of the ways AUDI achieves its progressive aims is through the use of new media like apps for mobile devices. Based on the design elements MetaDesign created for AUDI, for example the logo, typeface, gradient and colors, the agency developed a unified visual idiom in icons and pictograms to communicate the brand. The content and design of the apps were analyzed from a strategic branding perspective, app services were clustered, the app hierarchy clearly defined, and a flexible design kit made available. The systematic branded app architecture ensures that AUDI stays one step ahead of its competitors in its communication.
