At Luminale 2010, Schauspiel Frankfurt highlights its season opening. The Willy-Brandt-Platz underground station becomes a stage for an interactive text-based play, with passengers and passers-by as actors. Adopting the credo of Erving Goffman, who stated that We are all actors, the human interaction becomes the center of the installation. Passengers and passers-by can activate quotes taken from the plays in Schauspiel Frankfurts current program. By stepping on one of the role fields on the floor, they can trigger lighting, LEDs and sound. With the aid of media feeds on the LED, they can enter into dialogue with their fellow participants.
