The accessible pattern book archive stages a unique historical collection of pattern books as the main attraction of the tim, the State Museum of Textile and Industry in Augsburg, Germany. The red carpet is unrolled for three larger-than-life, rotating figurines, transferring the richness of small-sized artifacts into the third dimension. Haptics, printing and tailoring of the precious fabrics are presented. Using a digital pattern book as interface, the visitor becomes a designer himself.
