GOD / Space suit glove


I address the problem of fatigue in the hands and fingers that astronauts experience during space walks. The fatigue is caused by the pressurized bladder of the space suit that strives to rest in its natural position. The GOD motorized space suit glove uses electromyographic surface sensors that monitor the muscles controlling the fingers. This information is then to a CPU that controls a compressor with independent valves. The compressor feeds pneumatic muscles that are connected to the fingers using artificial tendons.
