Norrö / Furniture

Norrö
Norrö

Norrö is an innovative piece of furniture that is designed to be as flexible as possible, and convert to the user's current need at an instance. The innovative hinges allow the upper part of the chair to flip over, turning it into a bench or a coffee table. Norrö is blow molded in a composite consisting of recycled thermoplastic and organic fiber. The addition of organic fiber reduces the weight and makes the material more sustainable. The original brief was to create a more emotional piece of plastic outdoor furniture, but I aimed at a more cross-functional chair that would "feel at home" indoors as well.
