In the film title design of the fictional film The Forest, a little story is told that is animated and visualised in a way that gives it a mysterious effect. The sinister character of the film is amplified visually by the dark colouration, the veil of mist and the nature of the typography animation and auditorily by the music. The camera work and the animation of the typography in The Forest are precisely synchronised to the music, so sound and image merge and form one unit. In addition to the small, fascinating preliminary story that is shown, the actors, music composer and others are introduced in the film title design.
