Self Shelter / Survival and Emergency Kits

Self Shelter
Self Shelter

Self shelter is a portable emergency shelter for a single homeless individual and is designed to protect them from the harsh conditions of city streets. In regular use, it is worn as hat but when conditions get rough, they can pull out the self-shelter jacket from inside the hat and cover their body. The material is a Mylar fabric that is designed to keep your body warm. The purpose of this project is to protect the homeless from the risks of illness and cold weather that comes from living on the streets. But the ultimate goal is to help them realize the risks of continuing their life-style and consider permanent housing.
