15 % of the children and adolescents in Germany are too fat or already obese (Robert-Koch-Institute).

One cause of the increasing number of overweight children is the massive number of advertisements for unhealthy foods like sweets, sugared breakfast cereals, fast food or soft drinks.

In line with the demands of doctors and politicians, this diploma thesis uses marketing strategieys of the confectionery industry to advertise healthy fruits. It gives the children more understanding of healthy nutrition in a playful and amusing way. „Now you are ripe for the Fruit Friends!“
