Tube Cycle / Lighting system

Tube Cycle
Tube Cycle

People usually have no clue when facing a fluorescent light tube break down, the story often goes like: after several eye-soaring blinks, the tube ends it’s life cycle without a hint, leaving users in a sudden mess, busy buying and exchanging new tubes. The “Tube Cycle” is an annular sensor which circles around the light tube, this simple device can detect the decreasing amount of mercury ion and warn users when the light tube is going to break down by changing its alert color from red to green in part of the rainbow sequence. Users can easily tell when they should prepare a spare tube, instead of suffering a sudden black out.
