Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker has accompanied our childhood. Full of playfulness and imagination led us into a magical world where fairy tales would play out. This time around we tried to transform the thematic elements of the musical score into original, living characters. We also tried to break away from traditions. In parts we made the performance interactive, so the live orchestral music would synchronize with the visual images we presented. In the process, the visual images were also made richer and more harmonic. The interweaving of animation and programs created a unique spark, thus making the performance that much more fun to watch.
