sink in / Floor lamp

sink in
sink in

At what point does an object represent the actual and purpose-serving product or in other words: how much object must be excisting to fulfill a products funtion?
The floor lamp ‚sink in‘ is not fully complete in a typical way, there are parts missing and some incomplete compared to other floor lamps. By cutting the lampshade the whole lamp bends, leans on the wall and seems to sink into it. The two contact areas of the lampshade on the wall and the wooden bar, which is connected to the shade, add up to the necessary stability.
This basic solution and the resulting simple look result in a harmonious overall picture and an elegant ambient lamp.
