IRONY / iron

IRONY
IRONY

This ironic iron is flat, slim, and doesn't have an electrical plug. IRONY has a simple shape and can be assembled intuitively with a few folds. Two magnets allow do-it-yourself assembly of the main form. A "Hot Pack" is provided with the iron. It contains a mixture of substances(such as salt, activated carbon, and iron) that generate heat through a catalyst-aided oxidation porcess. The "Hot Pack" Simply needs to be shaken for a few minutes in open air until it begins to get warm. The user then places the "Hot Pack" into the folded iron form. Its heat lasts for around twenty minutes-more than enough time to press wrinkled shirts.
