Pick and Place is the result of a co-operation between the Berlin Weißensee School of Art and the Technical University Berlin. The basis for the mobile robot concept is a newly developed kinematic to move a grappler to a precisely accurate point with just one engine.
Due to the low weight of this kind of drive it is possible to mobilize pick and place robots. There are many reasons to build mobile robots, for example for firms that have a seasonal production demand. Furthermore alliances like those in farming industies would be possible.
