alarm cube / alarm cube

alarm cube

"alarm cube" is a novel alarm clock interface. There are no buttons to hit and the user does not need to calculate the time he has to get up on his own any more.
Instead, the user places little wooden logs onto the clock. These logs stand for amounts of time and there are three different possibilities to use them:
A) Place an 8-hour-log to get the eight hours sleep you need.
B) Place an 8-hour-log and an AM-log behind it to sleep till 8 am.
C) Behind the AM-log you place a 20 minute log (for the 20 minutes to drive to your appointment ), then a 15 minute log (shower) and a 5 minute log for breakfast. Alarm starts 20 min past seven
