Matching / Clothes hanger

Matching
Matching

“Matching” means the relationship between human and matter, human and human, human and the world. In Chinese ancient furniture design there was a kind of construction named “Mortise and Tenon”, which is the source of the design. All parts are free, but rely on tightly each other without any accessories. Two components are respectively in order to fit them together. The hanger is made out of red oak. The wood parts are cut and grinded by hand.
Designer took advantage of this approach to match every part of the hangers. Every part can be moved freely, but they match each other by convex and concave construction to be more stable.
