VisualYo / transit card holder


The “VisualYo” is a gadget that allows the visually challenged individuals to gain better access to the transport system. It is a electronic cover slip that goes over the Easy Card. The top panel contains Braille Translating into alphabets and numbers. By simply inserting the number and name of the bus you want to take, the information can be transmitted to the bus drivers and hence alerts them for visual disable passengers. This device utilizes the RFID technology which allows the bus drivers to be aware of passengers at varies bus stops. When the bus is near the bus stop the gadget will start vibrating which will alert the passengers.
