Ictali

A tribute to Mexican furniture and craftmanship.

Icatli is a reinterpretation of the Equipal, a name that was given by the Aztecs to this furniture object, which means “chair of the gods”. The idea was to create a "contemporary-mexican" design that stood up for our culture, traditions, and identity, but with a modern twist that would set it apart from antique furniture. Although Equipales are still being produced in Mexico, Ictali is more versatile to adapt in home environments outside of the country.
