Pivomed / Turning advice

For some operations narcotized patients need to be turned prone. The more obese the patient is, the more difficult it gets, to move him selectively.
This concept considers the workaday conditions in the operating segment of German hospitals, regarding aspects of time, space, staff, economy and medicine.
It comprises a ceiling-mounted lifting system in the preparation room, a special underlay combined with a vacuum-mattress, and several rollable belts covered by cushions for an individual fixation of the patient.
In contrast to the manual method the process with PIVOMED occurs controlled, the patient is protected and staff is highly relieved.
