MOON / Lighting

iF concept design award 2011

iF concept design award 2011

MOON was inspired by the idea of “what would it be like if a light floated in the air?” This product is a floating balloon light made of lightweight, resilient rubber material filled with an LED light and helium. It can be recharged with solar power in a recharger cradle located on your veranda. In the evening, simply take the light out of the recharger and release it anywhere in the house. A switch on the line allows you to adjust the light intensity and the lighting time so that it can provide just the amount of light you need at a desk or at your bedside. MOON is a cost saver and an eco-friendly product that uses solar power.

A beautifully poetic product that releases light from its static position to float away as a light ballon, wherever and whenever it may be needed.
