Five Factors

This booklet is aimed at conveying valuable information to newly diagnosed cancer patients. Last semester in our Communication Workshop, we worked with Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center to make a communication tools for their patients. In my research on newly diagnosed cancer patients, I found information about treatment decision making and emotional guidance. Through this research, I saw several common factors. I synthesized these into the ‘Five Factors’ that you will find in this booklet. The style and narrative is friendly and approachable so that newly diagnosed cancer patients will feel more at ease during this very difficult time.
