a bendable light / Lamp

a bendable light
a bendable light

Imagine a lightbulb, flat as a sheet of paper and bendable as you like. A new archetype. How could a lamp be designed that makes use of such unique attributes? „A bendable light“ is the translation of traditional adjustment capabilities into new light mediums. The light element itself is divided into three functional areas: A wide light surface whose tip invites you to handle and direct the light, a narrow section for twisting it and a pronounced connection area to plug it in. By adding or displacing elements, the light can be condensed or adjusted in height. But how many lights do we actually need? And do we need fewer leaves today?
