Table-Wear / Jewelry

Table-wear is a set of jewelry inspired by porcelain tableware, bridging the borders between concept and function by making wearable tableware. During the process the jewelry of the table becomes the jewelry of human body.
Some of the pieces combine the different periods of porcelain manufacture: like a saucer necklace with both a baroque and
a neoclassicist handle creates connection between centuries.
It brings traditions into a new modern aspect and usage.

(All the pieces were created from parts of Kahla Porzellan products during Kahla Kreativ 2010, Kahla, Germany.)
