trans-ring / Key ring

trans-ring

iF concept design award 2011

iF concept design award 2011

The trans-ring is an easy, new way to get your keys onto a key ring. It’s much easier and more convenient than using a conventional key ring. All you have to do is to press the steel spring, which bends inwards to expose the two sides of the stainless-steel ring. Then simply thread the key in and the spring snaps back into place. Thanks to the trans-ring, you will never again break another fingernail, struggling to get your keys on or off a key ring.

If you have ever tried to force a fat key into the tight coil of a keyring then you will no doubt welcome this simple invention.
