Gló is an interactive piece of light furniture for public spaces. When someone sits on the seat, it starts to glow around the area of contact. The length of time seated determines the intensity of the light. The light glows first yellow and then white, like a fire. If the person leaves, it doesnŽt stop glowing immediately, but slowly fades. People are able to leave traces behind and be aware of each others existence. Gló creates a meeting point. People may not meet at the same time, but at the same location they feel the presence of others. An interaction between several pieces of furniture is also conceivable. http://www.vimeo.com/16893809
