The Aachen University of Applied Sciences positions itself with the quotation „We offer a first-class education in future-oriented professions to our students.“ The CD is based on the values of the logo, the „Position Mark“. Composed of the colours mint, white, black, it marks the positioning of the University. In colloquial English, „mint“ describes first-class conditions. MINT also denotes the fields of teaching: mathematics, informatics, natural sciences and technology which characterise the specification of the Aachen University. The combination of theory and praxis, black and white, generate the basis to achieve something first-class.
