The Solartree is a heater for
outdoor use fed by solar heat.
It is completely self sufficent through a closed water circulation system.
During the day, the solartree stands in a sunny location and directs its collector wings
towards the sun. Meanwhile the water circulation will be heated up. This particular heat is lead by a heat exchanger into a water tank. In the evening, the collector wings are turned around to provide the stored heat back to the outside air. The current for the circulation pump is supplied by colored transparent solar cells.
My intention was to find an
adequate replacement for the conventional gas operated
heaters
