Kung fu for Seasons / visual design

Kung fu for Seasons
Kung fu for Seasons

Solar terms are important times, according to East Asian lunar calendars, which coincide with astronomical events and signify natural phenomenon. This booklet mainly focuses on the importance of practicing certain kung-fu movements during specific solar terms. Based on ancient knowledge dating as far back as the Huangdi Dynasty (roughly 2697-2597 BCE), these kung-fu movements can act as remedies to prevent or even cure visceral disease. The shadow measured at the midday of each Solar Term forms a Tai Chi circle in the background of this booklet.
