The neo crankset is a concept of a lightweight bicycle crank, which is especially designed for the production with laser beam melting technology – a new type of rapid protyping process. This technology creates fully functional and individual parts through a layer-built process out of metal without limited geometries. Beside the hollow space inside the innovation is a sandwhich build up with a space frame structure in the whole part - therefore this crank is very lightweight (less than 250 g) and stiff. The crank can also be matched in length and ergonomics individually for the customer and additionally a personal signature can be applied.
