Tambaqui / Desk - furniture

Many fish species inhabit Amazon rivers, in Brazil, contributing for ecosystem balance and ensuring families livelihood, through fishing practice. With management strategies, this is a sustainable activity, that is the inspiration for Tambaqui desk, tambaqui is a common fish species from this region. The desk has a table top made with a panel of Tectona grandis wood, aluminium structure, circular pieces made by rest of wood and a support grid from reuse of discards fishing grids. It keeps in a playful and functional way the task of support magazines and books, besides to be sustainable, avoiding discards.
