Soup tasting is an essential step in cooking delicious soup. Many of us would choose to taste soup directly by sipping from a soup ladle. However, most current soup ladles are not designed specifically to afford this behaviour as the size and shape of the ladle do not fit ones mouth comfortably. This design integrates a small spoon to the ladle to facilitate direct and convenient tasting of soup from the ladle without the need to first putting it down and using another implement.
