An incomplete telephone box 03 / Spare urban space redesign

An incomplete telephone box 03
An incomplete telephone box 03

This an extendible project for people to think, debate and reflect about re-using this British culture icon, a telephone box.

Making a call is charged. If this behaviour can be transferred, will the decline of telephone boxes change? This idea provides another application to use a payphone: exchange. Two options given to the user who wants to make a call. To pay with coins, or instead; to use this system to make energy.

It leads people to think about energy shortage, the difficulty to make enough energy for making a call. And also the possibility that people have no coin or phone card with them because of using mobile phone mostly.
