LiveLog / sport data visualization

LiveLog
LiveLog

The LiveLog is an interactive application, that visualizes sport statistics in a graphical way.

Sport statistics are usually twodimensional tables with a lot of numbers. The LiveLog steps into the third dimension and – through that – gets another information layer.

Events of the game, like a made shot, are displayed by a sphere that is, depending on time, player and event, positioned differently in the space. Besides that, the sphere has a different color depending on the quality of the event (made shot = positive, turnover = negative) and changes their size depending on the quantity (many events of a player).
