Amalia / sustainable floating luminaire

Amalia, a sustainable urban luminaire, a floating candle on the water. It is a solar powered LED light which combines esthetical, ambience with innovative and sustainable technology. This drop shaped object floats as an enlarged particle on millions of other water drops, a magnified detail. An attraction during the day, a candle during the night on lakes, rivers or in pools. The housing is translucent, sealed, waterproof & UV stable. It is an off grid luminaire with low maintenance. The object will always search for its upright position due to the balancing weight on the bottom. Amalia will twinkle in public spaces as an eye catching element.
