We may not need another chair, but we must never stop dreaming.
Dreams lead to innovation.
The clear body is made from polycarbonate to induce the visualization of seat floating in the air.
The levitation was successful by utilizing a strong neodymium magnet in a ring shape. Its repulsion was strong enough to provide a soft cushioning effect. Having 3 contact points integrated in the design of form and structure of the base/body keeps the seat from flying out horizontally. The height of the arm rail was fine tuned to the height of the repulsion.
