Conceptual Wharf Illumination System is designed for small harbors in remote areas and offshore islets. Compared with large commercial ports, small harbors lack for good infrastructures and energy resources. As a result, the poor illumination at night causes safety problems and inconvenience to the residents. The LED as the light source is powered by the wave energy. Oscillating Water Column (OWC) is the technology applied in the illumination system. The form of the system integrates with the mooring bollard. The concept design not only provides illumination but also guides people to attach the boats easily at night.
