It’s designed to prevent people from attempting suicide on high rises bridges or buildings. Suicide by jumping is more likely to be impulsive than other means so that fence has a significant effect on reducing potential suicides. It combines aesthetics and practicality to satisfy both design and function. The cylinder shape of rail fence begins to turn with one-way bearing system when people attempt to climb the fence. The built-in music box and the blue LEDs spread the ‘calming effect’ while rolling the rail fence. It may reduce impulsivity of potential suiciders and induce at least few different minds before they decide inappropriate choice
