Scanning Glasses
Scanning Glasses

The blind needs sufficient information to the environment before taking safe direction and actions. The Scanning Glasses is a facility which helps the blind to interact with the environment.
The design concept of Scanning Glasses applies Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) to identify information of electronic tag from the public notice and translate it into speech-information in order to convey the message for the blind’s reception.
The Scanning Glasses can help students with visual disability to recognize the environment on campus and to reduce the incident of disorientation, in addition to improving capability of independent action.
